EHDG is a multi-disciplinary committee that is serving several
missions:
1. It is the HRSA Bioterrorism Funds Planning committee for
hospitals within TSA-P
2. It is the Disaster committee for the STRAC
It is responsible for:
Development of the HRSA BT Funds Distribution Plan
Oversight of the Regional Medical Operations Center (RMOC)
Development of Multiple-Casualty Incident (MCI) plan involving all
hospitals and pre hospital care providers.
Exercise of MCI activities.
Coordination with Emergency Management representatives.
Development of a Regional Mutual Aid Agreement.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The EHDG meets monthly, generally on the third Friday of the month at
1000 hrs. Meetings are posted on the
STRAC CALENDAR.
Due to the time constraints of the HRSA BT Distribution Plan, EMS issues
related to EHDG are temporarily being managed in the STRAC EMS
committee, led by Bill Woodward.
