The STRAC Executive committee
leads the organization using a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency
approach. The officers and at-large positions are elected to serve
2-year terms, which are staggered to allow continuity in the
committee.
Major stakeholders in the regional trauma and emergency
healthcare system have a permanent position on the executive committee as well,
however if the representative from one of these organizations is elected to an
officer or other elected position, they serve in both the major stakeholder
position and the elected position to ensure no single agency has over-arching
control of the executive committee.
The appointed positions represent
Baptist Health System, Brooke Army Medical Center (SAMMC-North), Christus Santa
Rosa Healthcare System, Methodist Healthcare System, San Antonio Fire/EMS,
University Health System, and Wilford Hall Medical Center (SAMMC-South).
